Training Programme on Turkish Foreign Policy For Russian Diplomats

8-12 October 2018 - Ankara

The Academy conducted a training program for a delegation of nine Russian diplomats on 8-12 October 2018 in the context of furthering the cooperation between the Academy and its counterpart, the Diplomacy Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation. Participants attended seminars on general framework of Turkish Foreign Policy, bilateral relations with Russian Federation, cooperation with international organizations, relations with neighboring and nearby countries, African Initiative of Turkey, Turkish-Armenian controversy on 1915 events and Cyprus issue. During their stay in Ankara, members of delegation visited Anıtkabir Mausoleum, Turkish International Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and Yunus Emre Institute (YEE). They also had the chance to see Ankara Castle and Museum of Anatolian Civilizations in the cultural part of the program.
