International Junior Diplomats Training Programs

Taking the “Memoranda of Understanding for Cooperation” signed with various countries as basis, Diplomacy Academy organizes bilateral training programs for foreign diplomats. The content of the training programs is decided through mutual consultations taking into consideration the requirements of the country in question.

Basic Diplomacy Training

The aim of this one-week training is to acquaint the guest diplomats with “Turkish History and Culture”, “General Framework of Turkish Foreign Policy” and “Current Issues in International Agenda” and to facilitate experience sharing between young diplomats.

Protocol Training

Diplomacy Academy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs conducts protocol training for newly-recruited officers of the Ministry, foreign diplomats and staff of other Ministries and Public Institutions. Given with both theoretical and practical perspectives, these seminars include courses on general protocol issues, etiquette rules, official ceremonies and visits, representation, precedence, flag protocol, invitations and organization of international meetings
