Training Program for Palestinian Diplomats

 

11-18 November 2018, Ankara, Istanbul

The Academy organized a one-week training program for a group of 10 Palestinian diplomats on 11-18 November 2018, in Ankara and Istanbul. As part of the program, various conferences were held and visits were made in Ankara, followed by the delegation enjoying historic hotspots of Istanbul.

The first stage of the program included conferences on “Global and Regional Framework of Turkish Foreign Policy”, "Bilateral Relations with Palestine", “Turkish Economy and Economic Diplomacy”, “Public Diplomacy”, “General Protocol Rules”, “Embassy Administration and Representation” and "Public Speaking”. Guest diplomats also visited Ataturk’s Mausoleum and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Ankara.

The second stage of the program took place in Istanbul, where the group enjoyed first-hand experience of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Turkish and Islamic Art Museum, Spice Bazaar and Dolmabahçe Palace.
