Training Program for Somalian Diplomats (2018)
17-25 February 2018 - Ankara-İstanbul
The Academy organized a training program for a group of 10 diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somali on 17-25 March 2018, in Ankara and İstanbul. The first part of the program included conferences delivered by Ministry officials and Turkish ambassadors on Bilateral Relations with Somali, Turkish Foreign Policy towards Africa, Regional and Global Framework of Turkish Foreign Policy and as part of diplomatic skills on Protocol, Representation, Diplomatic Mission Management and Negotiation Skills. The participants visited Anıtkabir, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and Yunus Emre Institute in Ankara. Cultural part of the program took place in Istanbul, where the delegation enjoyed first-hand experience of Hagia Sophia, Dolmabahçe Palace, Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar.
