Rwandan Diplomats Training Program

11-18 June 2023

The Academy organized a training program for 10 diplomats from the Rwandan Ministry of Foreign Affairs between 12-18 June 2023. The first five days of the program were held in Ankara as a vocational training program and the last two days were held in Istanbul as a cultural program.

Within the framework of the training program, the delegation received presentations on the global and regional framework of Turkish Foreign Policy, relations with Africa and Türkiye’s African Partnership Policy, Türkiye-Rwanda bilateral relations, protocol issues, Türkiye’s foreign policy in the field of energy and energy supply security, United Nations and multilateral diplomacy, diplomatic privileges and immunities, with the valuable contributions of the relevant departments of the Ministry. The delegation also received presentations on "Diplomacy, Diplomatic Correspondence and Diplomatic Skills" by our former Ambassador to Kigali Ms. Burcu Çevik, "International Relations and Foreign Policy Analysis" by Prof. Dr. Muhittin Ataman, "Armenian Issue and 1915 Events" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Serdar Palabıyık, "International Terrorism and Global Security" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ömer Aslan.
