Training Program for 10 Afghan Diplomats (2016)
October 13-20, 2016 Ankara, Istanbul
The Academy organized a one-week training program for a delegation of 10 Afghan diplomats on 13-20 October 2016, in Ankara and Istanbul. As part of the program, various conferences were held and visits were made in Ankara, followed by the delegation visiting historic and cultural hotspots of Istanbul.
The first stage of the program included conferences delivered by Ministry officials, retired ambassadors and academicians on Bilateral Relations with Afghanistan; Embassy Administration, Turkey's Foreign and Defence Policy, Public Diplomacy, Protocol and Multilateral Meeting Organization, Public Speaking and Mediation Techniques.
The second stage of the program took place in Istanbul, where the delegation enjoyed first-hand experience of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, and Dolmabahçe Palace.
