Remote Training Program for Sierra Leonean Diplomats

4 – 6 May 2021, Ankara

An online training program was organized by the Diplomacy Academy for 31 diplomats of Sierra Leone Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation from 4 – 6 May 2021.

Throughout the program implemented with the valuable contributions of our Ministry’s relevant departments and also with the participation of the academicians from Ankara Social Sciences University and the official from Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), presentations were made on basic topics like our bilateral and regional relations, protocol rules, public diplomacy and using social media in diplomacy, international terrorism, piracy, conflict resolution-negotiation-mediation, and diplomatic correspondence.

The relevant training program is the 3rd activity organized by the Academy for the Sierra Leonean diplomats in the last 10 years, and it is the first tangible output of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in August 2019 and which promotes collaboration on the field of diplomacy training.
