Meeting with Vasyl Bodnar, Ambassador of Ukraine to Ankara

Prof. Dr. Mesut Özcan, the Director of the Diplomacy Academy, held a meeting with Vaysl Bodnar, Ambassador of Ukraine to Ankara on 20 February 2023. During the meeting, the Ukrainian side started by expressing their condolences for the earthquake disaster in our country and emphasized the desire to develop cooperation between the Diplomatic Academies of the two countries, and within the framework of the trainings to be organized in this context, it was expressed that a presentation could be made in which Ukraine could share its experiences in the field of search and rescue and emergency response.

In addition, cooperation in the field of historical research, in particular the translation of Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı's books into Ukrainian, a new videoconference between the Directors of the Academies and the resumption of diplomat training programs were also discussed.
