Training Program for South Sudanese Diplomats

 

25 February- 3 March 2019 Ankara, Istanbul

The Academy organized a training program for 10 diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Sudan on 25 February-3 March 2019, in Ankara and Istanbul.

In the first part of the program, Ministry officials from related departments, retired ambassadors and academics from various universities gave seminars on vocational subjects. The delegation also visited Atatürk’s Mausoleum, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) in Ankara.

During cultural part of the program in Istanbul, the delegation visited Süleymaniye Mosque, Chora Museum, Hagia Sophia Museum, Dolmabahçe Palace, Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar and took a Bosphorus cruise tour.
