Training Program for Diplomats from Somalia and Somaliland

6-12 May 2019 Ankara, Istanbul

The Academy organized a training program for 10 diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia and Somaliand on 6-12 May 2019, in Ankara and Istanbul.

In the first part of the program, Ministry officials from related departments, retired ambassadors and academics from various universities gave seminars on vocational issues. The delegation also visited Atatürk’s Mausoleum, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) in Ankara.

During the cultural part of the program in Istanbul, the delegation visited Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia Museum, Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, Dolmabahçe Palace, Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar and took a Bosporus cruise tour.
