Visit to the People’s Republic of China

March 7 - 16 , 2014 Pekin, Xi-an, Guangzhou, Hong Kong

Within the scope of the cooperation agreement signed between Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkey and Ministry of foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in 2012, the Academy paid a visit to China attending a program organized by the Ministry of foreign Affairs of China. Nine young Turkish diplomats accompanied by Burcu Çevik, Head of Department of Diplomacy Academy, joined the program.

During the program which included Beijing, Xi-an, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, the delegation was received by local authorities and attended various seminars regarding China’s economy, technology, culture, foreign policy and China-Turkey relations. The delegation also had the chance to visit various historical and cultural sites such as Great Wall of China, Forbidden City and Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses.
