Training Program for the Palestinian Diplomats

17-24 November 2019, Ankara, Istanbul

The Academy organized a one-week training program for a group of 10 Palestinian diplomats on 17-24 November 2019, in Ankara and Istanbul. As part of the program, various conferences were held and visits were made in Ankara, followed by the delegation enjoying historic hotspots of Istanbul.

The first stage of the program included conferences on general framework of Turkish Foreign Policy, Turkey's relations with MENA, economy diplomacy, energy diplomacy, public diplomacy, UN and multilateral diplomacy, OIC and Palestine Question, representation and diplomatic correspondence. Guest diplomats also visited Ataturk’s Mausoleum, Yunus Emre Institute and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Ankara.

The second stage of the program took place in Istanbul, where the group enjoyed first-hand experience of Suleymaniye Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace Museum, Spice Bazaar and Dolmabahçe Palace.
