Training Program for the Senior Sudanese Diplomats (2015)

October 11- 17, 2015 Ankara/Istanbul

The Academy organized a one-week training program for a delegation of 10 Sudanese diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan. As part of the program, various conferences were held and visits were made in Ankara, followed by the delegation enjoying historic hotspots of Istanbul.

The first stage of the program included conferences delivered by Ministry officials and academicians on Bilateral Relations with the Republic of Sudan, Turkish Foreign Policy and Turkey’s Mediation Efforts, Embassy Administration, Organization of International Meetings, Negotiation Skills, Crisis Management and Peace Building, Diplomacy and Foreign Policy Making, Economic Diplomacy and Public Speaking and Media.

The delegation also visited Ataturk’s Mausoleum, Prime Ministry Presidency turks Abroad and Related Communities, Prime Ministry Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency and MFA Archives Building. These institutions delivered presentations on their organizational structures and operations.

The second stage of the program took place in Istanbul, where the delegation enjoyed first-hand experience of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Egypt Bazaar.
