Training Program for the Georgian Diplomats

October 18 - 25, 2015 Ankara/Istanbul

The Academy organized a one-week training program for a delegation of 10 Georgian diplomats. As part of the program, various conferences were held and visits were made in Ankara, followed by the delegation visiting historic and cultural hotspots of Istanbul.

The first stage of the program included conferences delivered by Ministry officials and academicians on to9pics such as Bilateral Relations with Georgia, Turkish Foreign Policy, Turkish Economy, Energy Diplomacy, International Security, Conflict Resolution Analysis, Public Diplomacy, Negotiation Techniques and General Protocol Rules.

The delegation also visited Ataturk’s Mausoleum, Turkisg Grand National Assembly, Prime Ministry Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, Center for Eurasian Studies (AVIM) and Yunus Emre Institute. These institutions delivered presentations on their organizational structures and operations.

The second stage of the program took place in Istanbul, where the delegation enjoyed first-hand experience of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace and Dolmabahçe Palace.
