Training Program for the Career Officials to be Posted Abroad and their Spouses

8 April- 20 May, 2014 Ankara

The two-phase training program for the Career Officials to be posted abroad and their spouses in 2014 has been launched with the opening speech by Deputy Minister Naci Koru and President of DMEDD (The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spouses Solidarity Association) H. Canan Koru.

The first phase in which both officials to be posted abroad and their spouses participate together comprises courses on Mission Culture and Requirements of Foreign Duty, Overcoming Stress and Anger Management, Mobbing, Global and Regional Framework of Turkish Foreign Policy, Issues in Foreign Policy, Turkey’s Relations with the EU, Turkish Foreign Policy Towards the Middle East, Protocol Rules, Modern Turkish Literature, Traditional Turkish Art, Modern Art, Traditional Turkish Music, Modern Turkish Music and presentations by officials from TİKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency), Yunus Emre Cultural Institute and  Presidency of Turks Abroad and Related Communities introducing their respective institutions.

In the second phase, officials will be attending detailed briefings on the functioning of missions abroad, administrative and financial issues as well as technical and legal know-how about consular practices.
