Training Program for the Sierra Leonean Diplomats

January 17-22, 2022, Ankara, Istanbul

A seminar program was held between 17-22 January 2022 for 7 senior diplomats led by Prince E. O. Cole, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Sierra Leone.

In the seminar, sessions were held on “Turkish Foreign Policy after Covid-19, Turkey's West African Policy/Bilateral Relations with Sierra Leone, Negotiations, United Nations and Turkey, Public Diplomacy and Use of Social Media in Diplomacy, Turkey Experience in Protocol Negotiations, International Terrorism, Diplomatic Qualifications and Reciprocity”.

On the seminar program, the first of the Turkey-Sierra Leone Political Negotiations was held between the delegations led by Ambassador Hatice Nur Sağman, Directorate General for Bilateral Political Affairs (Africa), and Prince Cole, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Sierra Leone.
