Remote Training Program for Gabonese Diplomats

13 – 15 April 2021, Ankara

A remote training program was organized via videoconference by the Diplomacy Academy for 16 diplomats of Gabon Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the contributions of Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM) from 13 – 15 April 2021.

Throughout the program characterized as the first bilateral training program organized by the Academy for the Gabonese diplomats, the presentations were made on topics like our bilateral and regional relations, introduction to the law of sea and straits, internal waters and territorial sea, contiguous areas and settlement of disputes, exclusive economic zone and continental shelf, our policies on the outstanding issues in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea, irregular immigration, high seas and piracy.
