The Academy organized a one-week training program for a delegation of 10 Chadian diplomats on 7-13 May 2017, in Ankara and Istanbul. As part of the program, various conferences were held and visits were made in Ankara, followed by the delegation enjoying historic hotspots of Istanbul.
The first stage of the program included conferences delivered by Ministry officials and retired ambassadors on Bilateral Relations with Chad, Turkish Foreign Policy Towards Africa, Regional and Global Framework of Turkish Foreign Policy, Communication Technologies and Diplomacy, Multilateral Negotiation, Public Diplomacy, International Relations and Diplomacy, Humanitarian Diplomacy and General Protocol Rules.
The delegation also visited Ataturk’s Mausoleum, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and Yunus Emre Institute. These institutions delivered presentations on their organizational structures and operations.
The second stage of the program took place in Istanbul, where the delegation enjoyed first-hand experience of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Spice Bazaar, Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum and Dolmabahçe Palace.
