25th International Junior Diplomats Training Program

25th International Junior Diplomats Training Program is gathering 64 young diplomats from across the globe in Turkey on 1-21 April 2019. The program has started with the opening remarks by Deputy Foreign Minister H.E. Yavuz Selim Kıran on 01 April 2019.

Throughout the first two weeks of the program, in Ankara, Ministry officials, academics and retired Ambassadors will give seminars and conferences on international political and economic issues, current developments on the world agenda, regional developments, Turkish foreign policy, Turkish economy, Turkish history, culture, art, architecture, music and language as well as diplomatic skills, negotiation techniques, public speaking, leadership and conflict resolution. During that time, officials from prominent Turkish institutions such as Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, Yunus Emre Institute, Presidency of Turks Abroad and Related Communities and Disaster and Emergency Management Authority will give briefings about their respective institutions.

During the cultural part of the program the guest diplomats will have the chance to learn about historical and cultural heritage by visiting numerous sites and museums in Hattusa (Çorum), Cappadocia (Nevşehir), Konya, Antalya and Istanbul.
