22nd International Junior Diplomats Training Program

April 9-30, 2016 Ankara, Çorum, Nevşehir, Istanbul

22nd International Junior Diplomats Training Program, to be organized in Turkey on 9-30 April 2016 with the participation of 64 young diplomats from different countries, has started with the opening remarks by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Ali Naci KORU on 11 April 2016. Ministry officials, lecturers in the program and representatives from the Embassies of the participants also attended the opening ceremony.

During the first two weeks of the program which will take place in Ankara, guest diplomats will attend several seminars and conferences on “Turkish Foreign Policy”, “Turkish History and Culture”, “Bilateral Relations with Different Regions” and “Turkey’s Economy and Government” as well as the skill building classes such as negotiation techniques, conflict resolution, management and leadership and public speaking, given by officials from the Ministry as well as the academics from the leading universities of Turkey. Moreover, the guest diplomats will find an opportunity to learn about Turkish culture, art and literature during the program.

The second part of the program is allocated for historical, cultural and touristic visits. In this framework, the guest diplomats will visit Alacahöyük and Hattusha archeological sites in Çorum, Cappadocia in Nevşehir and the main cultıral and touristicl venues including the Historical Peninsula in Istanbul.
