21st International Junior Diplomats Training Program (Winter School)
January 12-28, 2015 Ankara, Nevşehir, Istanbul
On 12 January 2015, 21st International Junior Diplomats Training Program (Winter School), gathering diplomats from 33 countries in Ankara, Nevsehir and Istanbul between 12 and 28 January 2015, started with the opening remarks by Director of Diplomacy Academy Mesut Özcan.
Officials from the Ministry and representatives from the Embassies of countries participating in the program also attended the opening ceremony.
During the first two weeks of the program which will take place in Ankara, guest diplomats will have a chance to attend seminars and conferences on; “Turkish Foreign Policy”, “Turkish History and Culture”, “Bilateral Relations with Different Regions” and “Turkey’s Economy and Government” given both by officials from the Ministry as well as academics from leading universities of Turkey.
Moreover, the guest diplomats will have the opportunity to learn about Turkish culture and art during the sessions on “Turkish Water Marbling” and “Classical Turkish Music”.
Second part of the program, 23-27 Jan 2015, will comprise historical, cultural and touristic visits. Within this framework, the guest diplomats will visit Ürgüp Göreme in Nevşehir and Historic Peninsula in Istanbul.
